Sydney Launch Interview

Wolter Peeters is a photographer for the Parramatta Sun, a Fairfax community newspaper. He was on-the-job for the launch of Greg’s book at Motorcycle Accessories Supermarket in Parramatta and took some great photos. Unfortunately, I couldn’t link to the slideshow prepared by Wolter, but he has given us permission to recreate his slideshow, with audio, and present it here:

Book Launch Update

So far there have been two successful launches of “My Motorcycling Life”. The first at the 2007 Sydney Motorcycle Show on November 2 was supported by former Federal MP and NSW Transport Minister Bruce Baird, WSFM’s morning show host Brendan Jones and was ably run by the editor of ‘Live to Ride’ magazine, Miles Rangeley.

Others there to share in the fun included Animal OAM from Kings Cross Bikers and Ray Newland from the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries Motorcycle Division.

Following on later that day, at the Motorcycle Accessories Supermarket at Parramatta, Federal Member for Parramatta, Julie Owens, assisted with a local launch to help highlight activities with the homeless and on the streets. Julie, who regularly attends and pillions on the annual Bikers Australia Blanket Run in aid of Anglicare’s Street Outreach Team, is a passionate supporter of the disadvantaged in her region.
