2017 Silverwater Motor Festival

The 2017 Silverwater Motor Festival is a family focused celebration of the positives in motoring. Celebrating a 23 year tradition of family entertainment by Brotherhood CMC at the Silverwater Street and Custom Motorcycle Show, this grass roots Festival will showcase street and custom motorcycles, hotrods, classic cars, street machines and competition cars combined with live music and family fun for all ages.

This annual day festival will incorporate two motoring events, the Silverwater Street and Custom Motorcycle Show and the Silverwater Custom and Classic Car Show which will involve car clubs and social motorcycle clubs. Trophies will be awarded for a range of categories as well as prizes in both shows for People’s Choice, Best Car/Bike and Best Club Display.

Time:                      10.30 am to 3.30 pm (set-up from 9 am at rear entry)

For $55 inc gst trade displays are available by emailing greg@greghirstenterprises.com.au to book a space in the park. Some spots have power otherwise you need to bring tables, chairs, tent etc and a copy of your certificate of currency for public liability insurance.


Social car and motorcycle club displays are welcome. Each club receives six free entry passes and free display space but must provide own shade, tables and chairs.

Set-up time is from 9am – 11 am via rear entry under Silverwater Bridge.


In 2017 trophies include Best Bike and Car of the Show, People’s Choice, Best Club Display plus 17 individual trophies. All category winners receive a trophy from 3.30pm

As well Best of Show wins $300, People’s Choice wins $200 and Best Club Display wins $100 as well for both bike and car.

Sponsor’s bags for the first 40 competition entries for both bike and car shows and various gifts will be given out as door prizes during the day.

All you need do is fill it out and send a cheque or money order to 59-63 Pitt St., Parramatta 2150 with your return mail details for entry passes and the following entry prices will apply, as long as you mail by May 5, 2017:

Competition Entry

Competition cars and bikes can enter for $20 including pillions and passengers. After May 5 it is $20 per person in or on a vehicle at the gate.

General Admission

Adults $15, Teenagers $5 and Family $40. After May 5 it is $20, $10 and $50 at the gate.

Pension Card Holders

Entry on May 13 for pension card holders is $10 at the gate. Contact me by email for a special early bird deal.

Competition terms and conditions

Motorcycle and Car Competition

Entrants pay $20 as general entry to the festival and then can enter the competition at no extra cost.

  • All competition entrants are required to fill out a registration form for competition categories and special awards
  • Each bike receives a competition number to go on the headlight
  • First 40 bike and 40 car entrants receive a free sponsors bag
  • Minor awards presented at winning vehicles at 2.30 pm
  • Major awards are announced at 3pm
  • Judges decisions are final
  • Winners of each category receive a trophy

Tattoo Competition

The adult tattoo competition has two simple categories: male and female.

  • Entrants must be at least 18 years old
  • Entry is free
  • As a family show this means for men arms, legs and upper torso
  • For women arms, back and legs only
  • Judges decision is final
  • Winners of each category receive a trophy
